SEG Unveils SIERRA N Series at RE+ 2025, Secures Prestigious ETL Certification
Las Vegas, USA – September 9, 2025 – From September 9 to 11, SEG Solar (“SEG”) made a powerful statement at the RE+ 2025 trade show in Las Vegas with the official launch of its new SIERRA N Series HJT modules. Featuring an impressive maximum output of 740W and module efficiency of 23.82%, the series quickly became one of the most talked-about highlights of the event. During the show, Intertek, a global leader in quality assurance services, presented SEG with the ETL certification for the SIERRA N Series, underscoring the product’s safety and reliability for the North American market.
Outstanding Performance, Setting a New Industry Benchmark
Built on advanced heterojunction (HJT) technology and designed with 210×105mm large-format cells, the SIERRA N Series achieves up to 740W of power output with 23.82% efficiency. The modules come with a 15-year product warranty and a 30-year power warranty. Thanks to HJT technology, the modules offer less than 1% power degradation in the first year and under 0.3% annually thereafter. Compared with conventional PERC and TOPCon technologies, the SIERRA N Series delivers higher energy yield and superior power density, reducing both LCOE and BOS costs—ensuring greater returns for investors.
Unique Advantages, Unlocking Application Potential
The SIERRA N Series offers a low temperature coefficient (-0.24%/°C) and an exceptionally high bifaciality (90%). These features enable the modules to maintain excellent performance under high-temperature and low-light conditions, ensuring stable power generation throughout their lifecycle. Meanwhile, the ultra-high bifaciality allows vertical installations to capture reflected light from the rear side, significantly increasing energy yield per unit area and expanding deployment scenarios. Whether for large-scale utility projects or high-efficiency operations, the SIERRA N Series helps customers maximize system economics and profitability, positioning itself as an ideal choice for the North American market.
ETL Certification, Reinforcing Market Leadership
At the product launch ceremony, Sunny Rai, Senior Vice President of Intertek’s Global Electrical and Electronic division, presented the ETL certification to SEG Founder and COO, Jun Zhuge. This certification affirms the SIERRA N Series’ safety, performance, and adaptability, while highlighting SEG’s stringent standards in manufacturing, R&D, and quality management—ensuring long-term stability in real-world applications.
Sunny Rai commented: “The ETL certification of SEG’s SIERRA N Series marks compliance with the latest U.S. technical standards. This milestone showcases the strength of Intertek and SEG’s collaboration in the solar sector and lays a solid foundation for future partnerships. Moving forward, Intertek will continue to provide one-stop testing and certification services, helping North American PV companies succeed in the global marketplace.”
Jun Zhuge added: “We sincerely thank Intertek for awarding the ETL certification to the SIERRA N Series, which reflects SEG’s leadership in high-efficiency PV technology and rigorous quality management. ETL certification serves as a passport for SEG’s products in the North American market, ensuring that we meet globally recognized safety and quality standards. SEG remains committed to delivering reliable and high-performance energy solutions to our customers worldwide.”
Driving Growth in the North American PV Market
With the North American solar market experiencing rapid growth, demand for high-efficiency and reliable modules is stronger than ever. Backed by innovation, product excellence, and ETL certification, SEG is well-positioned to help customers improve project returns and drive the solar industry toward higher efficiency and lower costs.
